Hayyel
From Multiverse
Hayyel, the Land of Beasts
Hayyel is a large and varied world based on non-human characters. It will be the equivalent of a Mature rated game, due to the themes and actions available to the players.
Players will have eight classes and fourteen races to choose from as of this writing. Each player class will be designed cater to various play styles, from solo to group. Each race will have several appearance choices and ability to customize.
The game will be heavily quest driven in order to allow the history of the world to unfold to the player. Players will be allowed to join certain Factions and given the ability to take part or avoid Player versus Player activities based on those choices. A crafting system is planned that will be robust enough to provide enough equipment and choices to allow a player to choose between crafting or adventuring as a way to advance their character.
The world will be built to allow players the choice to group up or solo. Group play will never be forced onto players, but in order to have "the best" gear or items they are advised to explore dungeons within a group.
Emotes and social interaction will be an important part of our game. The ability to choose between form or function when it comes to appearance will be solved with the ability to have a separate clothing set visible in part or whole on their character. We would like to have it so characters can wear a customizable clothing set and choose, via tic boxes, on the equipment screen to have certain pieces of armor shown or not. This would allow players to have more control over the way they look.

Avias
The agile Avias are a race of bird-people descended from the noble gryphon. They are proud and stubborn. Many of who are wary of outsiders. They are known for their skills in crafting and firing bows.
Lupit
The spiritual Lupit are a race that lives close with the land. Closely resembling canines, they share many of their traits. They form close family bonds that last several generations. Well known for their skills as Shaman, they are able to call on the aid of several Kaji.
Feliti
The stealthy Feliti are a race of hunters skilled in the art of stealth. They share many traits with the wild felines they resemble. Originally a group of nomads, they have begun to create communities and settle down. Many races welcome them as skilled bounty hunters.
Equilio
The noble Equilio are a peaceful people blessed with their healing abilities with spells or potions. Skilled Alchemists, their potions are some of the best on Hayyel. With their long, broad muzzles, and hoofed feet they closely resemble horses. Many Equilio become Clerics or Paladins seeking to help all those in need of assistance.
Aquis
The water loving Aquis are a race of sea-faring traders. They were the first to map the world. Their similarities with the Cetaceans they resemble manifest in smooth skin and the ability to hold their breath for long periods of time under water. They are never able to pass up the chance to travel to a new land, but the call of the sea is never far from their heart.
Ursai
The strong Ursai are a tough race. Known for their shear strength and stubbornness, they make excellent warriors. However brutish they may seem, they are a highly intelligent race. Skilled in crafting armor and weapons in various materials. Their protective nature has forged an alliance with the Cyonis and the Roderin. In return the three races have become the most advanced. Building strange and wondrous "machina".
Minaco
The intimidating Minaco are a race of people who are a race known for their spectacular stone buildings. They have a large size and distinctive bovine appearance. Recently they have taken in the Naqui and the Metatheri and formed a partnership.
Ceren
The creative Ceren are known for their beautiful artwork and elegant cities. Most find a master to train them various crafting arts at an early age. Ceren who wish to explore can usually find their skills are in high demand. They have many clans, each with it’s own varied appearance. Most resemble deer, while others have large broad horns that look similar to moose.
Cyonis
The intelligent Cyonis are a race of inventors. They are highly skilled in the ability to create wondrous machines they call "Machina". They are in frequent competition for resources with the Roderin, even though they are allies. Their appearance can vary from ermine-like to that of a skunk.
Roderin
The sly Roderin are a shy and secretive people who, at times, have been at odds with the Cyonis. They too are interesting in Machina but have been known to “acquire” new inventions and materials from suspicious sources. Their race also has a highly varied appearance. From rabbit, beaver, and rat to even mole-like.
Phoidian
The peaceful Phoidian are a quiet race of fisherman, content with exploring the sea. While they try to resolve matters without bloodshed, they are quite capable in combat. Their appearance resembles seals or walruses. Despite their resemblance to the animals that the Aquis regularly hunt, they have maintained an uneasy alliance with them.
Metatheri
The wise Metatheri are well known for their keen magical ability. Training from a very young age, each and every Ceren can use magic regardless of class. Some Metatheri resemble koalas and others resemble kangaroos or opossums.
Yasei
The feral Yasei are the closest of any race to the elemental spirits of old. They are the descendants of the Kaji who took animal form and mixed with the beasts of the land, and as such they maintain a close bond with their less conversational wild relatives. Due to the fact they have paws instead of hands, they do not wield weapons in the same way the other races do. Instead, they use their innate spiritual powers and imbue it with a spirit. Thereby animating the weapon to fight for them.
